An older lady who washes dishes at a café in Chengdu, China, has turned into a viral sensation after she was spotted being dropped off at her working environment in a Bentley.
As per Chinese media, the lady’s little girl drops her off at her working environment in a Bentley and brings her back home consistently.
A viral video transferred on Chinese microblogging stage Weibo on April 1 shows the older lady leaving her Bentley in her work cover and rain boots.
It would appear that the woman is wealthy and only accepted the job because she didn’t want to sit around.
After becoming widely shared online, the woman stated to a journalist from China Times, “I feel bored and uncomfortable if I don’t wash dishes for one day.”
Her responsibilities include restaurant cleaning and dishwashing.
The woman’s employer confirmed that she did not require any cash.
The woman’s family was said to be against her taking the job, but they eventually had to give in when they saw that she had made up her mind.
According to the woman’s daughter, who was quoted by Oriental Daily, the family could not prevent their mother from working at the restaurant.
Presently, the girl shows support for her mom by taking her to work and getting her when she completes her work day.
