Moment Gunman kills 8 and injures 7 at Texas mall (graphic photos/video)

On Saturday, May 6, a shooter opened fire at a mall close to Dallas, Texas, USA, leaving eight people dead and at least seven more injured.

Multiple gunshots could be heard as terrified consumers yelled, raced across the parking lot, and huddled behind rows of automobiles.

An Allen Police Department officer who was in the mall for a different call shot and killed the shooter, according to the authorities. Investigators are of the opinion that the shooter acted alone.

An AR-15-style weapon is close, and the gunman looks to be resting on the ground after being shot in a crime scene photograph. He was observed with numerous additional magazines placed in his chest armour and was wearing black body armour.

Two of the nine patients who were taken to emergency hospital units have now passed away, according to Allen Fire Chief Jonathan Boyd.

According to him, as of Saturday night, three of the survivors were in serious condition and awaiting surgery, while four others were stable.

On Saturday, a medical facility in the Dallas region reported treating children as young as 5.

Kingsley Ezeh, one of the witnesses, described how he was inside the mall strolling when others behind him suddenly started running.

He said: “I turned around and I saw two ladies rushing towards me, and then one was like ‘Someone’s shooting!'”

Ezeh claimed he could make out a man grasping his neck while “blood (was) just dripping down” behind the running women.

Before police arrived to get them, Ezeh and other others hid in a store’s back room for approximately an hour, according to him. Other witnesses claimed to have hidden for as long as two hours as police cleared the area.

Additional video appears to show at least three bodies outside the mall that are wrapped in blankets.

Police are certain that they have located the deceased suspect’s car, which the bomb squad was inspecting out of caution.

The incident comes just days after officials claim a shooter in Atlanta, Georgia, opened fire in a medical institution, killing one lady and injuring four others. It is the most recent in a never-ending string of gun violence throughout the US.

According to the Gun Violence Archive, there have been approximately 200 mass shootings in the US so far this year.
